Steel Building insulation
If we compare steel made buildings with wood-frame buildings, steel buildings are not as much energy efficient. Designers usually go for larger studs and more insulation to conserve energy inside the building.
Lcynene is one of the materials that is being used in many steel buildings for insulation purposes as Lcynene has a very high expansion rate. In a matter of few seconds, the foam expands to its full thickness thereby filling all the open cavities, sealing joints and crevices inside the building. Lcynene is free from any ozone depleting chemicals and uses water as a foaming agent.
However, using Lcynene to insulate your steel building has few drawbacks too. Using Lcynene to insulate your steel building is a costly method since Lcynene is quite expensive. Rather, it is recommended to use cheap insulating material to fill steel-stud cavities and then invest remaining part of your budget in a rigid insulative sheathing.
